Today’s piece was going to be about my observations on how conference realignment in college sports is progressing such that the two super conferences we end up with will be geographically consistent with the Union and the Confederacy and all the reasons why this made sense culturally, politically, and socially because the American Civil War never really ended.
There were also going to be jokes.
But for reasons that should be very obvious to you unless you’ve had your head lodged in sand and/or your ass, that’s not being published today!
